Guru Bhat, VP Omni Channel & Customer Success, GM – PayPal India
A technology leader with over 20 years of experience, Guru has been instrumental in driving PayPal’s technology strategy in India as the company builds out next-generation payment solutions and services. In his current role, Guru leads the technology centers in Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad and also leads the Product Management and Engineering teams for PayPal’s Omni Channel and Customer Success Platform.
Since joining PayPal in 2015 as the General Manager of the Chennai Technology Center, Guru has held several engineering and product leadership roles including Transaction Orchestration & Planning, Merchant Data Products, Dispute Resolution Experiences and led the development of PayPal’s domestic product in India.
Guru holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
